How do I navigate to the integration and connect to Xero?
You can navigate to the integration by going to our web app (https://app.propte.com/). You can connect to Xero by going to the organisations page (https://app.propte.com/organisations) of the website.
What is the authentication flow? What will happen?
The website has a email username and password authentication flow. When you put in your email address as the username you will receive a confirmation email and be asked to set your own custom password. When you connect your Xero account to our website you will go through the Xero oAuth Application Authorisation flow. You can disconnect the website from Xero at anytime by going back to the organisations (https://app.propte.com/organisations) page of the website and disconnecting each Company in the list of connected Companies.

How do the different settings impact integration behavior?

What filters are applied to the menus?
There are 3 menus: Subscription, Organisation and Export. Subscription is the menu item used to add your payment details via Stripe. Organisation is the menu item showing the connected Xero Companies and gives you the opportunity to connect and disconnect more Companies. Export is the menu item used to export your data to a CSV file.
What are there different accounts offered?
There is only one kind of account at the moment. You can join multiple users to one Xero Company in the account. You can join multiple Xero Companies in the account. The account has a 24 hour refresh cycle for Xero data. Data Flow Diagram
The data flows from Xero.com to Propte.com to your local computer (CSV format) and then you can import it to Google Drive where it is stored for the import to Google Sheets. The data flows in one direction only. Propte.com does not write any data back to Xero. Here is a diagram:
